I didn't realize when Dan married my sister, Sara, what a wonderful family man he would be. Yes, he was handsome, smart, fun to be with - the perfect young man to marry. Then he became a Dad and wow! He and Sara blossomed with their family and I always think of Dan as the solid rock upon which generations flourish. We loved visiting them in their various homes in the midwest and in the south and then in California. Dan had the ability to move into a new area, make friends, and become part of the community right away. Although we live on the opposite side of the country, we always felt his presence. We will miss Dan and know his family will carry on his legacy of love for each other and a strong belief in family. We love and miss you, Dan. John and Ann Caron
