As next door neighbors in Greenville, SC, we have many fond memories of the Penn family. We remember Dan working in his yard, completing projects with the kids in the back yard, shooting hoops with Sean on the basketball goal in the front of the house. We also remember his work ethic and being a very successful business man. As a realtor, I tell my clients who are looking at the Lake Keowee area that I know the man who was on the ground floor of developing that area. A memory that stands out in my mind is our visit to the Penn home in Central, SC. A beautiful "southern home" tucked back in the woods surrounded by nature - spoke so much of the Penn's love for the outdoors and nature. Dan was a truly great man and will be missed by all.
